Not sure what to write? Here are ready-to-use wordings for Muslim and Christian weddings, invitations from both families, and short modern ones, each in Arabic and English. Copy one into your invitation and change the names, date and place.
What to include
- The names of the bride and groom, and of the parents if the families are inviting.
- The day, date and time, and the venue with its address or a map link.
- A warm line inviting your guests, and the date to reply by.
- If you like: a verse or prayer, the dress code, the programme and a note about children or parking.

A few tips
- Put the names, date and place first; keep the rest short.
- If your guests read both languages, write both: on a Wedding Invites invitation, each guest chooses theirs.
- Add a map link so nobody gets lost, and send the invitation four to six weeks before the wedding.
